Yes, when travelling abroad, the renter must inform a member of the rentals team at the start of the hire. International charges may also apply.

In the unlikely event of an incident, they must also ensure successful repatriation back to our base in Kildare so we require that all renters purchase either of the following prior to rental:

  1. a) An AA European 5-star policy which also covers accidents, breakdowns and recovery.
